NO MORE Mortgage believes a weekly meeting between spouses is a very important part of being able to implement a controlled financial environment.

It’s a very delightful thing to do.

We can also refer to this as a “Money Huddle”. On a weekly basis, the husband and wife get together and talk about finances.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Weekly, not daily.
2. Private not disturbed.
3. Minimum of 15 minutes, not more than 30.
4. Don’t ever hold the meeting in the bedroom.
5. The husband sees that the meeting is held, and the wife will typically come with the agenda.

This will help you see how you’re doing in your finances, your spending plan, what you can do to help each other. Other things will surface over time, vacations, school planning, wills and trusts, etc.
